IFMA Terms & Conditions

I. Membership Terms

1. Membership Eligibility and Access
   Membership in the Independent Fellowship of Martial Artists (“IFMA”) is available to individuals aged 18 and older by invitation only. Membership provides access to IFMA events, programs, and benefits as outlined on the IFMA website or membership materials. Membership benefits may vary by membership tier.

2. Automatic Renewal
   Annual IFMA membership plans renew automatically at the end of the individual membership term. Payment for renewal will be processed using the payment method on file.  Members are responsible for updating credit card information to prevent issues with auto-payments and membership suspension.  A $30 fee will be charged for failed auto-payments. 

3. Non-Refundable Membership Fees
   All membership fees are non-refundable. Annual members may cancel at any time; however, written notice of cancellation must be submitted to IFMA managment at least 30 days prior to the renewal date to prevent the automatic renewal charge.

4. Modification of Membership Terms
   IFMA reserves the right to modify membership benefits, fees, event access, and policies at any time without prior notice. No refunds will be provided for any changes made to members plans or offerings.

5. Suspension or Termination of Membership
   IFMA reserves the right to suspend or terminate a member’s access or membership for any reason, including, but not limited to, misuse of benefits, violation of policies, or conduct harmful to IFMA or its members. No refunds will be provided upon suspension or termination of membership.

II. Event Terms

1. Event Registration
   Registration for IFMA events constitutes agreement to these Terms & Conditions. Event registration is open to members and/or non-members as specified for each event.

2. Non-Refundable Registration Fees
   All event registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payment confirms attendance and is used for event planning and preparation.

3. Modification of Event Details
   IFMA reserves the right to modify event schedules, instructors, formats, or other event details at any time. No refunds or credits will be issued for such modifications.

4. Media Release
   By registering for or attending IFMA events, participants grant IFMA and its affiliates the right to photograph, record, and use images, videos, or audio of participants for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes, without compensation.

5. Liability Waiver
   Participants acknowledge that IFMA events may involve physical activity. Participants must sign a separate liability waiver as part of each event registration process. These Terms & Conditions do not replace or modify that waiver.

III. General Terms

1. Amendments
   IFMA reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be effective immediately upon posting to the IFMA website.

2. Acknowledgment
   By becoming a member or registering for an event, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
